What we store

OptionProof stores one thing on its own servers: the OAuth session that lets the app talk to your shop's Shopify Admin API. That's it.

Your option-set configurations are stored in your own shop's data (Shopify metaobjects), not on our servers. Your customers' option selections (engraving text, chosen add-ons) travel as line-item properties on your own orders and carts, inside Shopify. We never receive, store, or process your customers' personal information.

What we don't do

• No analytics or tracking scripts in your storefront beyond the option fields themselves
• No selling, sharing, or exporting of any data to third parties
• No storage of customer names, emails, addresses, or order contents

Data deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes our stored session for your shop (automatically, via Shopify's shop/redact webhook). Your option sets remain in your shop's metaobjects — they're yours — and you can export them as JSON from the app at any time, including before you leave.
